Loc Detox Treatment Bomb - Lavender Spa
Your locs, Sisterlocks(tm), microlocs, interlocs, and dreadlocks deserve a reset. These handcrafted detox bombs break down product buildup, scalp residue, dandruff, sweat, and odor that get trapped deep within locs—without stripping or drying.
💧 How They Work
Whether you're leaning back in an inflatable shampoo basin (you can get them on AMAZON) or bent forward over a sink or large bowl, this process can definitely be done alone but will go much faster and with less mess if you have someone assisting you.
Just drop the Loc Detox Treatment Bomb into very warm/hot filtered or distilled water. Let it fizz, foam, and dissipate throughout the water. Soak your locs in the detox solution for up to 15–20 minutes. After 10 mins of soaking, squeeze, press, and manipulate the locs to encourage deeper cleansing and breakdown of product buildup.
During this process, scoop and pour the detox water over the scalp and around the hairline. Continue to do this, making sure to squeeze and manipulate the locs to work the detox water throughout the locs.
You will notice a color change or a "muddiness" in the water as the dirt, oil, scalp debris, product buildup, and odor are gently released from your locs.
Thoroughly rinse hair, squeezing the locs during the rinse. The detoxing gently pulls out impurities while leaving your locs lighter, softer, and refreshed.
Depending on how severe the buildup is in your locs and if the water becomes very muddy in its appearance, you may need a second treatment. Just rinse your locs thoroughly, fill the basin/sink with fresh water, and drop another Loc Detox Treatment bomb. You can also wait until it's time to do your next shampoo.
